Friday, May 4, is the last day of classes for the Spring 2012 semester.
Jazz Vocal Ensemble performs on Friday, May 4, at 8 pm, in Rosen.
Saturday, May 5, is Reading Day.
The ASU Choral Reunion Concert occurs on Saturday, May 5, at 8 pm, in Rosen.
Final Exams occur Monday-Friday, May 7-11.
Graduate School Commencement occurs Friday, May 11, at 6 pm, in the Holmes Convocation Center. The ceremony will include a performance by four graduating Percussion Performance students.
Hayes School Commencement occurs Saturday, May 12, at 1 pm. Our speaker will be Dr. Concetta Tomaino, music therapist and executive director of the Institute for Music and Neurologic Function in Bronx, NY.
Monday, May 14, is the last day to submit final grades.
HSoM ON THE ROAD (upcoming)
Steely Pan Steel Band performs on Monday, April 23, at RJ Reynolds High School, in Winston-Salem.
The ASU Wind Ensemble will perform at the American School Band Directors Association (ASBDA) national conference on Wednesday, June 20, in Asheville, NC.
KUDOS, APPRECIATION, and OTHER EVENTS
HSoM alumnus Justin Hoke (MM Guitar Performance, 2010) won the Florida State University Doctoral Concerto Competition on Tuesday, April 17.
HSoM graduate students Justin Hammonds (Music Education) and Sarah Roberts (Music Therapy) have been named to the Cratis Wiliams Society of Outstanding Graduate Students.
HSoM graduate student Timothy Honig (Music Therapy) has been named one of the University's 2011-12 Chancellor's Fellows.
