Music Notes, February 24, 2015

Today is another "snow day" at Appalachian, with classes canceled till 2 pm. For those of you off the mountain, picture a steady fall of powder, not a puff of wind, all sound muffled slightly by the insulating accumulation. And now the clouds have lifted, with bits of blue sky visible intermittently. The forecast calls for improving conditions this afternoon and evening, so performances by guest artists Lynn Mackey and David Gee (Recital Hall, 6 pm) and the Appalachian Repertory Orchestra (Rosen, 8 pm) will occur as scheduled. Please join us for these two musical opportunities, the HSoM's 95th and 96th concerts of this academic year!
