Brass Choir
Marches and spiritual and symphonic selections are part of the program for the Appalachian Brass Choir at Appalachian State University.
The Hayes School of Music ensemble is directed by Dr. Christopher Blaha and Dr. Drew Leslie.
The program includes Hector Berloiz's "Hungarian March," the spiritual "Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child," John Phillip Sousa's "Rifle Regiment," two selections from Sergei Prokofiev's "Lieutenant Kije" and the adagio movement from Antonín Dvorák's "Symphony No. 9" also known as the "New World Symphony."
