Ensembles are classes and receive academic credit. The larger ensembles meet twice a week during the school day for 2-4 hours of rehearsal. Smaller ensembles meet once a week for 1 hour of rehearsal. Students register for the ensembles just as they do for classes. Extra rehearsals are held to a minimum (usually, one dress rehearsal per performance).
