Dr. Adam Kossler is an assistant professor of guitar in the Hayes School of Music at Appalachian State University. He has secured top honors in numerous prestigious national and international guitar competitions, including the Boston Guitarfest and the Texas International Guitar Competition, showcasing his talent across the US, Canada, and Central America. Notable performances include appearances at Carnegie Hall and featured spots in renowned concert series like the John E. Marlow Guitar Series.

Aside from his performance career, Dr. Kossler is in high demand as a teacher and clinician, having conducted workshops and masterclasses worldwide, from the Festival Internacional Suzuki in Guatemala City to the University of Alaska Guitar Festival in Anchorage. His solo recordings, "Guitar Recital" and "Ekloge," have received enthusiastic acclaim from critics and audiences alike, with the latter featuring his own transcriptions of works by notable composers.

Dr. Kossler holds a DMA in Guitar performance from Florida State University, under the mentorship of Bruce Holzman. He earned a MM degree at Appalachian State University under the tutelage of Dr. Douglas James, and a BM degree from East Carolina University. Adam Kossler began his musical studies with his father, William Kossler.
