The Viola Studio Recital occurs Friday, January 27, at 6 pm, in the Recital Hall.
Saturday, January 28, is the HSoM's third audition day for identifying members of the entering Fall 2017 class.
Dean's Advisory Council meets Tuesday, January 31, at 11 am.
HSoM Deans' Student Advisory Council meets Wednesday, February 1, at 5 pm.
The HSoM full faculty meets Friday, February 3, at 11 am.
The annual HSoM Endowed Scholarship Recital occurs Thursday, February 2, at 8 pm, in the Recital Hall. A reception will follow.
Harmonia Baroque performs Sunday, February 5, at 4 pm, in Rosen.
The UNC-Greensboro Faculty Woodwind Trio performs Monday, February 6, at 8 pm, in Rosen.
The HSoM Faculty Potpourri occurs Tuesday, February 7, at 8 pm, in Rosen.
KUDOS AND OTHER NEWS AND EVENTS
HSoM faculty music theorist Jenny Snodgrass and graduate student Tim Hamilton were recently awarded the outstanding poster presentation award at the Lily Conference on Evidence Based Teaching in Austin, TX: http://www.lillyconferences-tx.com/. Their poster, titled "Bridging the Music Theory Gap: Stories from the Field," summarized the work they have done together through a Graduate Research Associate Mentoring Program (GRAM) award received in 2016.
