This third week of classes began with a weather delay, due to snow and high wind, but regular operations resumed at noon, and we're now enjoying a beautiful sunny afternoon—there's nothing that compares to mountain weather!

Appalachian Symphony Orchestra performs its annual Concerto/Aria Competition Winners Concert on Sunday, February 12, at 2 pm, in the Schaefer Center.
"Todd Wright's Valentine's Evening" is Tuesday, February 14, at 8 pm, in Rosen.
KUDOS AND OTHER NEWS AND EVENTS
HSoM music theorist/composer Bill Harbinson's arrangement for trumpet choir and percussion titled "Two Carols for Christmastime" will be published by Triplo Music (MN). The arrangement was written for the ASU trumpet Ensemble and premiered by that group during the annual Holiday Scholarship Concert.
