Kudos and Other News and Events

  • Congratulations and thanks go out to HSoM conductor Steve Hopkins for coordinating the 23rd annual Holiday Scholarship Concert, as well as to the innumerable other faculty, staff, and students who collaborated to make it such a success. This year's event brought in nearly $14,000 for scholarship support, including a record number of individual and business sponsorships. Many of us have reported numerous conversations with audience members, including many new to the event who were moved, inspired, and impressed by our students' performances.
  • Congratulations go out to our December degree recipients—nineteen undergraduates and four graduate students!

With best wishes for the holidays and the beginning of 2016,

Bill
