As our friends in the northeast brace for an "epic, historic" winter storm, we're seeing just a "dusting to an inch" of snow. And we're in full swing for the semester, with concerts scheduled, an audition day on Saturday, and many other events in the planning stages.

- The annual Endowed Scholarship Recital will occur on Thursday, January 29, at 8 pm, in Rosen Concert Hall.
- HSoM faculty violinist Nancy Bargerstock and faculty pianist Rodney Reynerson perform in recital on Friday, January 30, at 8 pm, in Rosen.
- Saturday, January 31, is the third day of auditions to select the Hayes School of Music's incoming fall class of 2015.
- Harmonia Baroque performs on Sunday, February 1, at 4 pm, in the Recital Hall.
- The HSoM Faculty Potpourri Concert occurs Tuesday, February 3, at 8 pm, in Rosen.

- HSoM faculty trombonist Drew Leslie and tubist Bernard Flythe perform in recital on Sunday, February 8, at 2 pm, in Rosen.
HSoM On the Road and Around Campus (upcoming)
- The Appalachian Wind Ensemble will be the featured performing ensemble at the Virginia Band and Orchestra Director's Association All-District Band Clinic at the Holiday Inn Conference Center in Bristol, Virginia on Friday, February 6 at 5:30pm. On Saturday, February 7, the AWE will perform at the Cannon School in Concord, North Carolina at 1:00pm for several high school bands, including the Cannon High School Band, conducted by ASU Alum Daniel Knox. Both performances are free and open to the public.
