Music Notes, March 2, 2015

We'll have both "lion" and "lamb" versions of March this week—60 degrees on Wednesday, high 20s with snow on Thursday—as we look forward to ASU's spring break. The HSoM concluded its audition season on Saturday, and we'll see in these coming weeks just who will be part of the fall class of 2015.

Kudos and Other News and Events

  • Thanks go out to all faculty, staff, and students who made our audition season so successful. As usual, our building was full on these five Saturdays, with almost all HSoM faculty members meeting, auditioning, and interviewing potential students for the incoming fall class. Special kudos are deserved by Associate Dean Jay Jackson, who coordinated the days and met nearly every auditioning student and family member, Janet Seatz, who scheduled all 300+ auditionees, and Music Therapy student Shelley Mccluskey, who organized student volunteers and ran the information table so ably.

With best wishes for week eight of the spring semester,

Bill
