Tickets are FREE of charge for the 2024 concert!

In this time when the storm has been hard on many in our region, the Hayes School of Music is grateful to be able to offer free admission to the Holiday Scholarship Concert as a gift to our community. This is made possible by anonymous donors whose generous gifts have helped the school to raise the amount we projected to collect for scholarships this year through further ticket sales. With this support, the Hayes School of Music can continue to offer our hoped-for scholarships and we can invite all to attend free of charge.

A FREE ticket is required. Reserve yours below! Please note that seating is now general admission (NOT reserved seating), so ticket holders who prefer specific seats or areas are encouraged to arrive early.  There is no charge to park at the time of the concert, but allowing extra time for parking is recommended.

Reserve a Free Ticket - available only through this link and the Schaefer Center box office.

Gifts for children under 12 in the audience

Following the performance, the Hayes School of Music will offer a gift for children under 12 who are attending the concert! We hope the spirit of the gift will help usher in the holiday season, extend our appreciation to those who served our community during Hurricane Helene, and lift those who experienced loss. Children can visit our ushers with their families to receive a wrapped surprise gift for each concertgoer age 12 and under (gifts will be tagged with a suggested age range).

Watch the concert online

We will also be live-streaming the concert this year! Just during the time of the concert, it will be available to watch at music.appstate.edu/performances

Donate to the Scholarship Fund

We gratefully continue to accept donations to the scholarship fund. Donations and ticket sales from the Holiday Scholarship Concert support Hayes School of Music students - and the more we raise, the more we can offer in scholarships.

Through the generosity of our audience and sponsors, over $300,000 has been raised over the years, all of which goes directly to our students! If you are interested in donating, please visit givenow.appstate.edu/HolidayConcert or contact Melinda Friddell (828-262-8692, friddellmf@appstate.edu).
