Closure

Choose a parlor game to play, (Hul Gul, Fox and Geese or Cross Questions) while resting after dancing. These games were favorites, not always played in a parlor, but wherever there was need for a game that could be played without equipment, and without much space for moving around.

Evaluation

  • Look for all students to participate in the singing games.
  • Look for correct identification of musical elements indicated as impacting personal responses to ballads during shared and written analysis.
