Join us at Appalachian State University for the 2024 North Carolina Trombone Festival, an annual state event highlighting the trombone community throughout the state of North Carolina!  We will welcome to campus artist-teachers from North Carolina, Virginia, and New York to present clinics and perform on the Performer’s Showcase recital.  We will also look forward to trombone choir performances from the Charlotte Trombone Collective as well as the Appalachian Trombone Choir.   Your day will include a variety of clinics on topics such as improvisation, learning jazz standards on trombone, embouchure fundamentals, and more!  We will end the day with a participant trombone ensemble reading session and a performance!

• Conference Fee: FREE! There is no charge to attend, but registration is required. 
• Lunch: Lunch is on your own.  Attendees can eat at the available on-campus options, or go out to eat in Boone. There are many restaurants within a few minutes' walk of Broyhill Music Center.  You are also welcome to bring your own lunch.  Minors without parental accompaniment are required to bring their own lunch and remain in Broyhill Music Center during the lunch break.
