Private Lessons - Community Music School

Develop a lifelong passion for music! The Community Music School offers private music instruction in a variety of instruments and subjects. Scroll down to see all our instruments, subjects, and faculty.

On a limited basis, new students are still being accepted for Spring private lessons through March 31. Lessons should be completed by April 30. Please note that lesson availability depends on remaining space in teachers' schedules, and there may be a delay of up to two weeks in matching you with a teacher if available.

Lessons can be 30, 45, or 60 minutes long. Students and teachers will determine a mutually available lesson time within Mon-Thu 4:00-8:00 or Fri 4:00-6:00 before completing registration. Please note the parking information in case parking costs affect your preference of lesson time. See below for prices, which depend on the teacher's experience level.

New student or looking for a new teacher? Fill out the Private Lesson Inquiry Form, a great first step to help us match you with a teacher who suits your schedule and interests! New students can join until March 31. Due to a high volume of inquiries and limited studio space, there may be a delay of up to two weeks in matching you with a teacher if available.

  • Private lessons can be held in person at the Broyhill Music Center in Boone, NC or online from any location.
  • Visit our Registration Page to see complete details about lessons.
