Hayes School of Music Course Proposal Guidelines
The Undergraduate Curriculum and Assessment Committee offers the following guidelines for creating new courses. Writing and submitting a course proposal consists of many steps. These guidelines are meant to simplify the process. The pages include the following information: general steps to the process, a list of deadlines for committees that are involved, a summary of deadlines, links to forms, instructions to filling out the forms, and where to submit the proposal.
There are two sets of guidelines:
1. HSoM proposals; for courses NOT in the Gen-Ed curriculum.
2. For music courses as part of the Gen-Ed curriculum.
