This week is all about exams and Commencement. We look forward to celebrating the accomplishments our seventy bachelor's and master's degree recipients on Friday, as well as hearing from our guest speaker Ms. Mary Luehrsen, Director of Public Affairs and Government Relations for NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants. This is our last full week of classes. Concerts continue through next Wednesday, May 3, bringing total performances in the Broyhill Music Center to over 170 for the 2016-17 academic year.

This is a short three-day week following our four-day holiday. The calendar is full, with events every night until classes end on May 3. This weekend brings us the 22nd Annual Appalachian GuitarFest and Solo Guitar Competition.
