Orff Pricing and Tuition

Pricing and Tuition Assistance

Discounts and tuition assistance below are compared to the course fee (regular price $700), which includes all instruction, course notes, materials, T-shirt, and a closing picnic dinner.

Housing and Parking are additional costs selected separately in the registration form. Meals are not included (except for the closing picnic dinner).

Early Bird Discount of $50

Complete your registration and deposit by April 1 for $50 OFF the total cost of your bill! This can be combined with other discounts. No code is needed. See our Registration page for the process.

Special Pricing Thanks to App State’s Public School Partnership

Thanks to a grant from Appalachian State University’s Public School Partnership, educators from several North Carolina school systems are eligible to attend our Orff Schulwerk Level I program at a reduced price instead of the regular course fee of $700! No additional application is needed.

  • Public school educators in Watauga County Schools can attend for $440 (a $260 discount).
  • Public school educators in these other Northwest NC school systems can attend for $540 (a $160 discount): Alexander, Alleghany, Ashe, Avery, Burke, Caldwell, Catawba, Hickory City Schools, McDowell, Mitchell, Newton-Conover City Schools, Wilkes, and Yancey.
  • These reduced prices may be combined with the Early Bird Discount, tuition assistance from App State’s GAPP Fund, or other funding sources whose terms and conditions permit it.

Supporting Orff Tuition Assistance

Help make Orff studies possible for more educators! The GAPP Orff Schulwerk Fund gratefully accepts donations to help provide tuition assistance for participants who would not be able to cover the full cost of an Orff program.
