Brad Tilley is originally from Mount Airy, NC and is the Director of eCommerce and Marketing at Casual Furniture World. He holds a BS in International Business from Appalachian State University and an MBA from NC State University.
He has performed with the Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, the STUDY World Winterguard, and Chicago ROTC/Flaggots Ohio. As an instructor, he has worked with numerous groups in the United States, Germany, and the Netherlands, including Plainfield Winterguard (IL), Fidele Vogelsanger Drum Corps (Germany), Emanon World Winterguard (NJ), and is currently a technician with Étude World and A colorguards from Rock Hill, SC. Brad was a founding Director/Colorguard Caption Head of Fleurish Winds (WI), a WGI Winds Independent A Finalist in 2018.
Brad enjoys using his background in musical theater in the colorguard educational process and has conducted clinics and workshops in the US and abroad on improv and theatrical movement techniques. His continued passion for the activity comes from not only developing students to be successful in the current season, but also from instilling in them a work ethic that will serve them well in their lives.
Brad is incredibly excited to return to his Alma Mater (‘05) and looks forward to working with the members and staff of the Marching Mountaineers!
