Michael Marcantano hails from Sarasota, Florida, where he started his passion for the marching arts 23 years ago at Booker Visual Performing Arts HS. Michael has performed with The Alliance of Miami World Guard, Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, Chicago ROTC, and Flaggots of Ohio.
Michael is an active choreographer, designer and adjudicator in the pageantry arts. Michael has instructed numerous programs all over the country throughout his career including Paradigm World Winterguard, Collage IA Winterguard, Emanon World Winterguard, University of Wisconsin Whitewater. He is currently Director of Colorguards at Northwest Guilford HS (NC) and is on staff with Étude Winterguard (Rock Hill, SC). Michael has also choreographed for the theater and enjoys freelance graphic design, having designed digital flags, uniforms, and floors for FLASH Visual Media and McCormick’s. Michael was a founding Director/Program Coordinator of Fleurish Winds (WI), a WGI Winds Finalist in 2018.
Michael has adjudicated throughout the Midwest, focusing on Ensemble Analysis, Visual Effect, and Colorguard.
